The person behind the pixels

Nguyễn Đức Hiếu

Product Designer, a.k.a. Hiếu Dé

I’m Hiếu, a hands-on product designer with 5 years of experience, including time spent leading design teams.

Twice, I joined as the first designer, working from customer research through the design and launch of websites and apps.

How I got here

HospitalityProduct designUXF

I came to design through hospitality. It taught me to notice what people expect from a service, where they hesitate, and what earns their trust. I learned product design on my own, then studied at UXF to get better at choosing the right problem before drawing a screen.

Off the clock.
Still curious.

Hiếu waters a houseplant while Búp inspects a new leaf from a chair and Luyến naps in a box.

  • My two cats are the love of my life.

  • I try to keep my houseplants alive and cry tears of joy at a new leaf.

  • Fear of zombie apocalypse keeps me at the archery range.

  • I (badly) re-create recipes from Instagram whenever I can.

And then there’s
the Department.

Mewstery Department is my fictional detective department, with Búp and Luyến as its very opinionated cast. I do the design. They supply the interruptions.
